Strong feminist women and self identified lesbians undergo hair removal less then heterosexual women (Basow & Braman, 1998). Sugaring has been used in Egyptian times, middle eastern culture, Northern Africa, Greece middle east, Persians.
A Glimpse into The History of the Beauty Industry
Hairlessness is a norm served in culture. Between 1915- 1945, there has been a dramatic change in women roles. In 1915 there were not many ads for hair removal or removal products. This is because the body was not visible because of clothing styles. Hair on places other than the head was considered unnecessary and ugly. In 1920, ads were focused on changing the human body. Mouthwash, deodorant, tooth products and sanitary napkins were new products. Learn more in your training course!

Microdermabrasion Training Course National Association of Estheticians Beauty School
The Microdermabrasion Training Course is available for $800 in St. Catharines and Niagara
Microdermabrasion training provides individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform this popular cosmetic procedure effectively and safely. Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive exfoliation technique that uses a specialized device to remove the outer layer of dead skin cells, revealing smoother, rejuvenated skin underneath.
During microdermabrasion training, students learn about the anatomy and physiology of the skin, understanding how the procedure works and its potential benefits for various skin conditions such as acne, hyperpigmentation, and fine lines. They become proficient in using microdermabrasion machines and understanding the different types of microdermabrasion techniques available, including crystal and diamond microdermabrasion.
Moreover, training covers important topics such as skin analysis, contraindications, and safety precautions to ensure the procedure is performed accurately and without causing harm to the client. Students also learn about post-treatment care and recommendations to maximize the results and minimize potential side effects.
In addition to technical skills, microdermabrasion training often includes education on client consultation, communication, and building a successful skincare practice. Understanding client expectations, assessing their skin concerns, and providing personalized recommendations are essential aspects of delivering a satisfactory experience.
Overall, microdermabrasion training equips individuals with the expertise and confidence to offer this in-demand skincare treatment in professional settings such as spas, dermatology clinics, and medical aesthetics facilities. By helping clients achieve smoother, more radiant skin, trained microdermabrasion practitioners contribute to enhancing their confidence and overall well-being.

What is Microdermabrasion?
Skin treatments include microdermabrasion, micro needling, chemical peels and face masks. Clients should consult with a skincare professional or dermatologist when making decisions on skin care treatments. Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive, non- chemical skin resurfacing treatment. It exfoliates the outer most layer of dead skin cells while stimulating collagen growth to reveal healthy new skin that looks and feels smoother. Fine lines, blemishes, dull skin, mild scarring and sunspots can be improved, especially with regular treatments. Products such as moisturizers, creams and lotions are more easily absorbed and therefore more effective after microdermabrasion treatment. This is a painless, low-risk skincare treatment that can be added to your beauty routine.
